Block party!

Sorry - I couldn't resist doing a Royal Wedding themed post today. These pretty wedding party items, tea towel, paper plates, cake displays and pennants are all from here. I, for one, will be getting up early to watch the wedding because I'm British, was born in London and it will, no doubt, be the biggest media event of our time - are you going to watch?

Bookends

I love these iron, elephant bookends - I have some vintage ones and this has reminded me that I should get them out and use them - bottom picture. These lovely white ones are from Monkey and Squirrel who really do have the best selection of cast iron accessories.

Mystery chinoiserie

I can't remember where I got this gorgeous image but, even with the risk of the newly appointed blog police coming round to arrest me, I'm posting it here for you all to admire(and if you know where it came from you can let me know!)

Eye candy!

Ha! - Wake up eye balls! Just thought I'd make sure you were all awake this morning. All of these beautiful things are from Niki Jones where there's lots more to admire, but for now, enjoy . . .

Flashback

Every so often when I am posting here I notice something in LinkWithin that I had forgotten about. Yesterday I saw this magazine that I bought at a yard sale and posted here about 3 years ago. It's still one of my faves! Hope you like it as much as I do. I changed my blog tagline yesterday to "Look beyond the obvious & be inspired by the curious." I think it describes how we have evolved over the last few years :-)

Mystery product

At first I wasn't sure what was for sale here - I thought it was the cool old leather boots but then I realized it was the old doors - still a very cool find! It's all about the product shots isn't it?

This is so pretty - a spring wreath from Delia Creates. There's even instructions!

Vintage labels

Some of you will be familiar with the designer David Pearson's work - well he also has a wonderful collection of vintage ephemera that he has allowed me to share with you. The typography on these vintage luggage labels is fabulous. I especially love the first one - 3 dimensional type is always a winner.

Ephemera inspiration

Some amazing and inspiring ephemera to help you get your creative groove on this morning!
