Inspiration
I find these so inspiring - end papers from vintage books. They can often be a total surprise when you find them. I love the 'wallpaper' feel that they they have. There are lots to look at right here on Drawger. I really like the one with the plots of land and houses(7th).

I work in a library so whenever I come across a great end paper, I make a photocopy which can then be used for cards or scrapbooking.
The first one is the best - with that fat mamma bear and her cub - adorable!
I have a hard time picking a favourite. Don said the truck, for sure.
They are superb. Give me the idea of dressing up a bookcase with coordinating book papers.
Love these illustrations and patterns! I wish books published now had such attention to detail and design.
FABULOUS post! I miss this era of bookbinding. That first one with the woodland creatures strikes such a chord for me!
GORGeous! I think Anna has a great idea. I could move into a library for a month or so.........like Claudia and James at the Metropolitan Museum of Art. Anyone read that book? From the Files of Mrs. Basil E. Frankweiler.
Oh yes Maia! I can see why you would especially like that one. Look at that badger!
Omigosh, that is so bizarre, this morning I was just going through my vintage children's books and thought of photocopying the end papers of one of then for gift wrappers this christmas- and it's the 5th image you featured!
