Restoration reproduction
After I posted that job listing yesterday and that great pic of the reproduction postal desk I became quite obsessed with Restoration Hardware's office furniture. I know it's a bit masculine but I really love the industrial style of these pieces. They are extraordinarily expensive but, gosh, I really like them. I love the patina and the huge scale of the pieces. This first piece, the desk, is zinc - so cool! RH really does a good job of reproductions. These pieces may not be to your taste but perhaps you can be inspired in some way :-)

Dog. Blanket.
What a show stopper this vintage Pendleton pillow is - and what a great idea to piece one of these iconic blankets together, creating a whole new design - kind of Nordic! Love it. Great job Little Byrd Vintage.
Also from Little Byrd this fantastic scotty bookend. It's amazing how many dogs end up on this blog and you know I've never even had a dog!
Perfect world
I hadn't seen this until yesterday. What a great idea - you could truly make the world the place you'd like it to be(and apparently this budding artist fancies a world filled with unicorns and sailing ships!)

Graphic Designer Needed!
I have a wonderful, talented friend in NYC who is looking for a graphic designer to work with on an ongoing basis. I have offered to help her find the perfect person! This is a great opportunity for a well rounded designer with all the current software skills, a friendly personality and extremely good taste. If you think you fit the bill or would just like a little more information why don't you shoot me an email!
Do you know Jack?
I think all of these pillows are very nicely designed and produced - by Secdus. The first one is just lovely, especially if you happen to have a Jack Russell (any of you?) That's a very calm looking pup - much more calm than any of the feisty Jacks around here!
Honeycomb paper
I love honeycomb paper don't you? It's such a retro thing! Hey Yo Yo has lots of it and these are my faves . . .
Vintage illustration
I couldn't resist this great little illustration of Puss in Boots. What a fab little outfit he's wearing! From here.
