Illustration

Really lovin this illustration that Doug did this week. It's an editorial piece for an industry magazine. So beautiful!

Envelope template

I bought this yesterday on Etsy. I think it's quite cool and I can see it as part of a display (and I'll probably use it too!) Thanks for the tip Words and Eggs

Isn't she lovely? Some lucky person scooped her up already - sorry! From here!

Preserving artist's palettes

I was quite fascinated by this article in the Telegraph yesterday about artist's palette's and why they should be preserved. I think you will find it very interesting too - whether you are an artist or not. They really are quite beautiful - works of art in themselves. I especially love Georges Seurat's ;-)

Gustave Moreau

Paul Gauguin

Eugene Delacroix

Edgar Degas

Georges Seurat

This and That

Loving these pillows From Lynnes This and That. Big bold florals! Great stuff.

Inspiration - mosaics

I don't know if I have featured very many mosaics here in the past - maybe a few really old ones - but these are new. Maybe they could inspire you this morning? These are from mosaicart.org.uk and from here.

DIY - ribbon cards

I know there are a whole bunch of you who will dash over to this blog to grab the link on how to make these great little ribbon cards - to wrap all the scraps of lace and ribbon you have floating around in a box! Have fun!

It's a holiday weekend in BC so I'm taking a little break but I thought I'd see if you could help me with something today. I need a new watch. I usually wear a Fossil watch but I don't see anything there at the moment that catches my eye. I like a casual watch with some vintage styling - I like a fairly masculine style - not a small face, girlie watch or anything blingy like a Guess watch! So I'm asking you, seen any cool watches that I might like recently? I, of course, would love this vintage Breitling but not sure it's within my budget!

These last 3 watches are from Sundance - and I do quite fancy the green faced one!
