One of the giveaway winners from yesterday has a very nice Ebay shop that I think you might appreciate. Fancy Linda has a wonderful selection of new and vintage trim, beads, sequins, millinery supplies - you name it - millions of tiny treasures all organized into neat little categories for your browsing pleasure. Here's what caught my eye yesterday - love these fringed, birdy patches don't you?

Giveaway Winners
We have winners - 2 lucky ladies have won our Cartolina giveaway! Thank you so much to everyone who entered. I always read all the fun comments and I really do appreciate every one of them.
The lucky gals are Words and Eggs and Fancylinda. We did the usual - blindfolded a complete stranger and forced him to pick, at random, the winner out of the giant salad bowl. I am definitely looking forward to sending off sets of new Cartolina products to both of you - so email me!

If you didn't win, don't despair, we have one big, whopper of a surprise for you in about a month - so we may just have another giveaway then - can't wait to spill the beans - I am so not good at keeping secrets! So stay tuned!
Chris Chun
When I was at The Stationery Show I had planned to meet Australian artist Chris Chun - but, after numerous text messages, we just kept missing each other. I was disappointed because I really enjoy his work. Chris's paintings have been licensed on lots of great products including stationery, textiles and homewares. He has a unique painterly style that sets his work apart and is quite recognizable. I love how decorative it is with a fun sense of perspective - I think you'll enjoy it too . . . .

Chris has an online store where you can purchase his beautiful stationery and amazing silk pillows among other lovelies. His blog is a fun and informative read including some wonderful features on his work process(above.)

I'm rather intrigued by these block prints by Genevieve Woodford. They look almost like frescos or rubbings. They are very cool - and a unique way of interpreting vintage imagery. The texture and colours are fabulous. You can buy original lino block prints from Genevieve right here.

Inspiration
What do these beautiful accessories have in common? They're all easy projects from Martha Stewart - I love to leave you with weekend projects! The leather belts are wonderful - and a hint - there are often great Bakelite belt buckles for sale in the vintage shops on Etsy Have fun - and then send me a picture!

Inspiration
One of my readers sent me a link to this sweet site - PIP - from the Netherlands. How can I resist such prettiness! I'm really loving the website design trend at the moment of using photographs of 3 dimensional objects - it's so non techy! PIP's homepage has all sorts of little animations that are so clever - you must visit. After you've played around with the homepage checkout all their fabulous wares. (I love their bags!)

Found
There are some pretty jaw dropping pieces of furniture at Liv Chic. Including these stunning modern Rococco pieces. There's lots to look at on their website.

Pattern
Abigail Borg is one talented lady. Her wallpaper designs are a clever concoction of vintage chintz and contemporary vectored line art. Her colours are a combination of muted tones which look so striking at the scale she uses. I am not nearly brave enough to paper a wall with these designs but I love to admire. You can see more on her website and blog - enjoy . . .

These remind me of vintage Italian ceramics. They are very nicely hand 'carved' and hand painted. In a time when so much is mass produced this is such a refreshing relief for handmade junkies like me. These pretty little tumblers are made by Ebenotti and are available right here.

NSS
I want to tell you about some great Stationery Show coverage at The Stationery Hustle. Rajshel from JH Papers took the time to take great photographs and feature wonderful stationers last week. I'm really impressed with the trouble she went to. I think you'll enjoy her coverage too.
