No I'm not going to start knitting! I was dying to show you this(sorry about the pun!) This yarn was dyed using a Crockpot and Kool-aid. Isn't it pretty? I saw this on Crafty Minimeg via Craftgawker and originally from a tutorial on Do Stuff Blog. It's really quite an incredible process and I encourage you to check it out. I simply can't believe that it's Kool-Aid :-)

Love it! Kool Aid and a crock pot. I could do this.
I love dyeing yarn! I have a big bag of yarn and Kool-Aid packets standing by... this example is beautiful, I want to get the crock pot out right now!
Love it! I was reading the instructions and it said to use wool or another animal fiber yarn, but do you think 100% cotton would work well too?
I used to have a friend that would knit socks and then dye them in kool aid. It was when I lived on Pender Island, and a good portion of the Island's population walked around in crazy bright turquoise or pink socks... Loved those :)
Ha! Really interesting...and
so is the above comment. Sounds kind of Seuss-y, doesn't it :)?
