When I have spare time (like I have any of that!) I love to browse the pages of Marie Claire Idée. We are lucky in Canada because there's a good selection of French style magazines to be had at the news stand. And, you know what, they are so French, it's fabulous! So, if you're not in Canada and you'd love a little French flair, Marie Claire Idée is online - enjoy!

you are right; the french are renowned for their innate sense of style. must say, however, that the majority of french homes i have visited whilst living here in france are a long call from these uber chic images! in the north they have a fascination with yellow glass for windows, mustardy brown floor tiles and dark heavy solid oak furniture; a depressing mix on a dark winters day!! still i like it here! vive la france...
Merci de mettre le style français en valeur sur ton blog.

Love your blog, so happy I met you ! full of bright ideas !
Love the cork oval; I have been collecting corks for 30 years and I am always looking for ways to make use of them. You are the greatest! Thanks.
Thanks for the comments ladies. Don't you love the way so many of these crafts involve corks, corkscrews and wine glasses!!
Anna - you really have to do something fabulous with your 30 years of corks!

Marie Claire magazine is fabulous. There is so much French inspiration where I live (Montreal) that I sometimes don't appreciate it as much as I should! Lovely post, j'adore!
Lovely, lovely.. I am also a fan of Marie Claire (even if french never been my best subject)!
I used to read Marie Claire all the time. By the looks of it I should pick it up again. Lovely images!
