inspiration from the Boston Public Library

Sometimes I post vintage posters because I really hope that they will inspire someone to create something beautiful. There's so much to be learned from these wonderful old pieces. I could stare at them for hours - and, if you go to the Boston Public Library's collection, you can, in fact!

Check out wallblank.com for vintage print like this for purchase. Really nice collection and I'd loved to have the fox in a print!

What imaginations those artists had! I love the travel posters from the Art Deco period. Truly the Golden Age of travel images.

Posters changed everything we knew about looking at art.

Thanks for sharing these gems.
