Inspiration
These beautiful images are from one of my new favourite sites - Trouvais. These shoes are stunning - do you think they are original? There are so many gorgeous photographs at Trouvais - vintage, french and all our other favourite things!

Wow, those shoes are so beautiful--the intricacy of the embroidery on the light blue pair is incredible!

Hi Fiona...thank you! Those shoes ARE real 18th century...cropped from Marie Antoinette Style by Adrien Goetz...a tiny book but the most incredible picture of all these tumbling shoes. The sleeves are of indeterminate age...bought off Ebay from the bottom of someone's grandma's (who used to be an antique dealer who traveled often to France) trunk. The color and roughish linen lining read 18th century to me. Wishful thinking. Love your blog, too. Those snowdrop cups are divine! Trish
