Fiona Richards | Cartolina Cards . . . . I have never considered myself a trend follower. The only things I follow are my instincts. Collecting and creating have taught me to trust the art that moves me and question the fads that don't. This blog reflects the diverse design influences behind my work and all the things I love.
Wrist Worms - what we all need at this time of the year to keep our hands warm when we are working at the computer. Last week I reached out to my Twitter friends for some recommendations on wrist warmers and these won, hands down :-)
I bought some plain black cashmere ones yesterday in Marks and Spencer. You forget you are wearing them they are so soft. I call them wrist warmers but love Wrist Worms as a description and so will my grandkids
It doesn't get quite cold enough here in my studio in Florida to need these, but I sure could have used them years ago when I worked at an advertising agency that ran the AC so low that it felt like we were located in the Arctic Circle!
These are SO popular on Etsy! I want a pair or two but have had trouble deciding from all the choices available. I like the sound of those cashmere ones Di mentioned...mmm, cashmere. :)
utterly gorgeous! i recently ordered a pair from Toast here, dark charcoal grey which is so my favourite season-changing shade right now, and they keep me warm under the horror that is air-conditioning in November in London. The guys around me laugh at my extra layers, but I care not!
We love your comments! Please leave comments when you feel the urge. Not only does it let us know that you are out there but it also sends encouragement and support to the artists, crafters and producers that we feature at Cafe Cartolina - and if you don't write comments we might just start featuring the latest trends in snowmobiles and manicures.
