Vintage labels

Some of you will be familiar with the designer David Pearson's work - well he also has a wonderful collection of vintage ephemera that he has allowed me to share with you. The typography on these vintage luggage labels is fabulous. I especially love the first one - 3 dimensional type is always a winner.

I love the fact that these instantly take me somewhere ... so far I've been back to Italy, florida and california (hollywood to be exact) .. how's that for inspiration!

I was lucky enough to purchase a tri-fold screen covered in vintage travel stickers. It's for sale in my antique mall booth, and it's awesome!

I usually stop by and simply admire your wonderful finds, but today I'd also like to invite you to visit my blog where I show how to make a simple project with old flour sack labels. I think you would enjoy it.
