I have many places that I go for inspiration and they may not directly lead to new Cartolina designs - but they always open my mind to new colour combinations and patterns. One of the places I love to check out is this London tile restoration company. You should take a look at their work - you may be inspired too!

Yes, I was the one in the Sistine Chapel who was looking down trying to make a drawing in my journal of the tiles.
That's funny Anna! I'm always glad when they have those mirrored table tops where you can view ceilings - saves my poor neck!
I should not be surprised that you like floor tiles! Here are a few photos I've taken of some that you might enjoy.

you just gave me suck a flashback! these look like every single entryway in the old neighborhoods of my hometown of Montevideo, Uruguay.
They are amazing! I love such tiles and the retro feeling they create!!
Beautiful photos!
Love these - our old family home (an old Rectory) had floors like these throughout the ground floor - so gorgeous. Hubby wants to put them into our hallway in our Victorian semi (when we can afford them!). x
We used to have tiles like these in our hallway when we lived in London.Funny, I have a thing about them at the moment and am thinking of something similar for our new tags :)Thanks Fiona
