Inspiration - diy centerpieces

I just love this simple diy project from Ruffled. These pretty paper-covered cans are so easy to make and can be as pretty as the paper they are covered in. So easy and effective. You can see all the instructions right here.

Oh great, now in addition to hoarding glass jars for a Halloween project, I will be hoarding tin cans for a fabulous table... LOL Seriously, very nice & simple idea to customize.

How pretty! Funny I had just done a post on covering cans with oil cloth. Love anything to do with creative re-use. Like the idea of using cans as vases, somehow it never crossed my mind.

Thanks for the comments everyone. When I was a kid we used to watch Blue Peter on TV(in the UK) and among other things they had really good crafts. they were always covering tin cans and bottles etc - upcycling everything in sight - matchboxes and those round cheese containers, you name it! Funny how these simple crafts come back to haunt us!
