Inspiration- press sheets

This is kind of interesting - at least I think it is! This is an uncut Cartolina press sheet from our printers. We don't get to see these very often because they get sliced up and sent to us as individual cards but my guy at the printers thought I might like a few of them. I can't wait to dry mount one of these and hang it on the studio wall. It's quite large, 50" x 30" - holds 16 cards. I had a friend over to the studio at the weekend and she snapped one up - not sure what she'll use it for - maybe she'll hang it on her wall too! If you have other great ideas - let me know below . . .

I think this would look fabulous in one piece as the top of a table, though I don't know how you'd go about covering a table with this -- decoupage maybe? It's gorgeous. Reminds me of a quilt! ;)

At first I thought it was wrapping paper. It's gorgeous. Consider framing one to celebrate your success.

How fun, how fun, how fun! You should get one from every collection release and frame them for your studio.

Oh how pretty :D I'd definitely frame it and put it up. Or maybe you can have a mini contest and give them away?

Maybe take it to one of the fabric printers like Spoonflower and then make it into pillows or one big quilt.

These lovely designs would look great under the glass on a glass-topped table. Your blog is one of my very favorites. Thanks for all the inspiration!

Well thanks for all the suggestions. I think I will definitely hang one on the wall but I was thinking, after reading your suggestions, that maybe to make some tissue or wrapping paper would be fun - we use a lot of tissue and paper when we prepare product for shipping and it might look really great. Just to use in the studio?
Thanks for all your suggestions!

It's funny, I have the press sheets from my card run sitting on my bedroom floor. I think they're cool too, and I've been looking at them trying to figure out what I could do with them. Your readers made some great suggestions, thanks.
