Inspiration
I'm not usually drawn to quilt pictures but I simply love this image and all these sewing inspired photographs that I have been admiring on this Tumblr collection. this gorgeous quilt is by Amy(from Amy a la Mode) and I love it's traditional but oh so current look don't you? And the styling on top of the vintage cupboard - love it!

There I was doing my usual check of Cafe Cartolina before going to be, only to find my quilt featured as inspiration! I think I actually squealed out loud. How exciting! This is one of my favorite quilt photos as well, with our old milk cabinet and our vintage McCoy flower pot collection. Thanks so much for featuring my photos here!

Oh I am glad you brought up quilts. And quilt photography.(These are so pretty.) I am in dire need of some help. I am working out a website and soon I will need to have photography done, and I need to come up with a way of photographing quilts that don't make them look grannyish. Not that there is anything wrong with grannyish, but I am not a quilter. I need to find a way of photographing it that is less about the quilt and more about the idea. You posted about my pillows back when I was just getting started (thank you!), which look so different now that I have learned so much... but I have come full circle and would really love it if any of your readers have ideas of quilt photos that are from a unique perspective. Who knew taking a unique picture of a quilt could be so darn hard!!!

This is my etsy site if anyone wants to see what I am talking about and boy, would I appreciate a word or two of inspiration!
