I had this series... all sorts of lovely colours... and looked so great on the shelf all lined up... and the pages were uneven on the edge and had a thick sort of feel... *sigh*

I love these. Heidi was one of my favourite books growing up!

What beautiful covers! Being from the Netherlands I'm not familiar with this series, but they are lovely! Especially Heidi catches my eye. Are these your own?

I love vintage books. I think they are so much prettier than the new ones :)

Oh what a nice bunch of posts this week Fiona! I'm getting that "gimmegimme" feeling all over!

And Heidi - first grownup book I ever read too! Have wanted to sleep in a hayloft ever since!

OK, getting to work now! Thanks for sharing these! I especially like the Sherlock Holmes for some reason.

Thanks for linking to our set! We really love Junior Deluxe Editions, and have collected about 40 of the 90-or-so titles in the series. Three Owls is right ... they look wonderful all lined up on the shelf in our daughter's nursery!

I came in to read your Earth Day post and scrolled down to find these! I have a bunch of these - a dozen? fifteen? - and I love the way they look lined up on my bookcase. Until I read Scott's comment though I had no idea there were so many more. I'll have to be on the lookout...
