Doug took this picture of this amazing 'tent dress' in one of our local galleries on Saturday. This piece is one in a series of tent dresses by Angelika Werth. The dresses are actually made of real tents that have been lived in and have been witness to a variety of amazing adventures - each one comes with it's own story. You can find out more about this dress and see more of Angelika's work on her website.

So glad to see Angelika's amazing work. I make a point of looking in to see what new and beautiful piece she has designed whenever I'm in town.

this is gorgeous! it reminds me of an exhibit that our arts center had last year. we had the first image shown here on display (the actual piece, not a photo obviously!) : http://craftzine.com/handmade/lasser/

it was so amazing.

I just found your blog via a comment you left on Megan Auman's blog about her coffee cuff/bracelet. I clicked through to read your blog and absolutely love it! And I must admit, I've been in love with your card line for awhile now. Too funny that we crossed paths this way on the internets!
