Fiona Richards | Cartolina Cards . . . . I have never considered myself a trend follower. The only things I follow are my instincts. Collecting and creating have taught me to trust the art that moves me and question the fads that don't. This blog reflects the diverse design influences behind my work and all the things I love.
Look at this fabulous place - this is Le Chandelier in East Dulwich, London. This is a tea shop! What I would do to sit with a cup of Earl Grey in this amazing space. And what d'ya know - they sell chandeliers too!
Wow...! The tile, the exposed bricks, the crystal chandeliers, the perfectly orderly jars of teas..! This looks like a dream place. Beautiful. Thanks for posting, dear.
omg you are going to make me tear everything out of my house and redo it in moroccan! the best part about this is that it is done with such a light touch and is not over-ethnic! oh hell. my husband is not going to be happy with you!
p.s. fiona, i just have to say that you excelled yourself this week! (or as we yanks say, you hit it out of the park). the little dogs, the east end house, the garlands, manon21. thank you for stocking us up with so many lovely ideas before xmas!
This is my local tea room!! They serve a gorgeous chocolate cake to die for...This place used to be an antique shop and I was lucky enough to get a fantastic french guild mirror before it closed down.
We love your comments! Please leave comments when you feel the urge. Not only does it let us know that you are out there but it also sends encouragement and support to the artists, crafters and producers that we feature at Cafe Cartolina - and if you don't write comments we might just start featuring the latest trends in snowmobiles and manicures.

I love the tea shop in London--and I'd like the pear tart, please, with Earl Grey tea.

So beautiful, those tiles are amazing.
When we meet for coffee next time, can we meet here and have tea and cakes instead?
The patterns here are amazing! Also, I love the exposed brick surrounding the doorway. Awesome find.
Love the watery colors of those tiles. So opulent and yet cozy at the same time!
This place looks amazing...!!! I'd love to join you there with an Earl Grey tea :))
