Fiona Richards | Cartolina Cards . . . . I have never considered myself a trend follower. The only things I follow are my instincts. Collecting and creating have taught me to trust the art that moves me and question the fads that don't. This blog reflects the diverse design influences behind my work and all the things I love.
These gorgeous images are from Pale & Interesting. I have actually never found pale very interesting until recently and I definitely could be persuaded after visiting this beautiful online boutique.
I love pale interiors, as long as they have lots of textures and variations in color, etc. Those mulberry ornaments are gorgeous. Against my will, I am slowly warming up to the fact that X-mas is kind of soon....
I just found Pale and Interesting this week and did a post on it as well! Great minds think alike! (And I agree - would rather be sunburned and fascinating - but I'll take any one of their vignettes any day!) xo
We love your comments! Please leave comments when you feel the urge. Not only does it let us know that you are out there but it also sends encouragement and support to the artists, crafters and producers that we feature at Cafe Cartolina - and if you don't write comments we might just start featuring the latest trends in snowmobiles and manicures.

I'll bet you're loving pale color schemes so appealing right now because of how restful they feel during this crazy retail season. xoxo
Ugh, I'm still waking up! That was worded clumsily, but you get it, right? :D
