Pattern
Well pattern junkies, hope you brought your oxygen tanks - prepare to hyperventilate. These fabulous patterns are the covers and spines of vintage Penguin books from the 60s and 70s. They look older to me but apparently not. These images are from one of my favourite books in the studio, Penguin By Design by Phil Baines. Enjoy!

Oh, I love Penguin bookcovers. Myself, I collect the lilac ones, with the classic penguin cover.
But these ones have a wicked pattern. Fantastic! And shows how well books accomplish any interior.

SWOON! I love these patterns and now you've put me in a nostalgic mood. I used to work in a bookstore in college and I would go ga-ga over the Penguin books. My co-workers at the time thought that I was just nuts.

I guess you can judge a book by it's cover, these are fabulous!

I have been known to buy old books just for the design on the cover - a quick photocopy and I have a great background paper either to use in my scrapbook or for a card.
