Stencil instead of decal
This is clever. There are so many vinyl decals out there on the market to decorate your walls with - I am not that crazy about the plasticky, slick look of decals but I do like this stenciled version - from here. What do you think? A weekend project?

Thank you for the mention, the stenciling took a couple of hours each for all the pictures. Meanwhile one can eat chocolate and admire their handiwork for the rest of the weekend. Have a good one.

Stenciling was wildly popular 10-15 years ago and I remember painstakingly stenciling a very intricate (and in retrospect, very ugly) ivy border around my picture window. Even after I tired of the design, it was hard to paint over it because of the time involved in painting it. It's great to see new and fresh stencil designs!

While I do like the stencil and the end results, it is quite a bit of work and is not moveable. The nice thing about those vinyl ones is that they are quick and moveable - if you want to get rid of the shine, you might try spraying the vinyl decal with an acrylic matte coating. That stuff comes in handy for lots of projects!

Love the two tones! What a fantastic way to use a stencil... doesn't look like one! Great!
