Design | Inspirations

I noticed these dishes at World Market the other day. I thought they were really great and they totally reminded me of traditional mehendi(henna designs). I was thrilled at the results I got when I googled mehendi - pages and pages of fabulously inspiring, over the top, swirly designs - luv 'em!

World Market is one of my favorite stores. I've always admired the painstaking detail in henna designs.

Love the mehndi designs - I have always wanted to do my hands and feet like this!

I had a mehndi design done on my hand at a party. It was just on my palm and then went down my wrist and merged into some freckles on my arm. The funniest part was that I was unexpectedly called for an interview for a job and couldn't wash off the henna.

I love the mehendi design! I had one done once and loved it. It felt like I had something special with me (well, until it washed off weeks later).
