It's been 3 weeks since we launched the Cartolina iPhone case collection and it's been so much fun. For the first time in Cartolina history we completely sold out our entire inventory in less than 10 days. Fortunately everything is back in stock and available on our website again - phew (that was stressful!). Thank you to everyone who has ordered cases for their stores and to everyone who has purchased a case on our website - we are extremely grateful and touched by the overwhelmingly positive response. have a lovely weekend everyone!

Inspiration - window decals
I thought you might like to see these pictures. This is one of our local businesses here in Nelson that has recently applied these very cool, and very large, decals to all the windows of their building. I think they look great - the bright pink is a real show stopper don't you think?

Dana Tanamachi's chalk boards
I'm still have trouble with the Blogger meltdown - Blogger seems to be slowing down so much in the evening making it really difficult to publish posts - hopefully they'll get it sorted out soon - noticed I lost a lot of pictures and comments too! Oh well - onward and upward!
My friend Fiona sent me a link to Dana Tanamachi's website - with these wonderful, hand lettered chalk boards. I just knew you would love these. So beautifully designed and crafted. It takes a lot of skill to work in such a large format and such delicate medium as chalk - I'm so impressed - you?

Vintage inspiration
I'm sure you'll be wondering what these all have in common. Well, they are all french, paper cut-out, novelties from a huge collection at Paper Craft's Flickr Stream. I think they are wonderful and there are hundreds of them - it's hard just to pick a few - I know you'll love them all.

Interior Inspiration
I pretty much love everything in the new House Doctor catalogue - they really know how to do that modern country/light industrial look. And their catalogue is so darn pretty!

The golden ticket
These people at Crank Bunny are so clever. I've featured one of their handmade cards before. They are so beautifully designed and so unique. This one has a gold leaf scratch off panel on the inside that you can personalize - which is amazing. Check out their other amazing designs.

Aren't these wonderful? How unique and clever! Hand painted 'wooden clock hands' from Sandra Eterovic. Check out her store and while you're there take a look at the fabulous mirrors - pig tails anyone?
