Random Florals
That previous post has allowed me to post a random offering of florals for your enjoyment - all of these have been floating around on my desktop waiting for such an opportunity. First is from Print and Pattern about 2 years ago and the second image with the floral chandelier is from design*sponge.

Has your home become too grown up?
I was really drawn to this Flickr set when I first came across it. There is something very honest and impulsive about the way this gal decorates her house with her thrift store finds. It's a good reminder to us all to keep things fun and fresh. I feel like I used to decorate more like this but then we sort of grew out of it a few years ago and became more 'grown up'. But when I think back on our first places we called home I really loved the way we decorated with thrift store finds and second hand treasures.  Do you ever feel like your home has become too grown up?

When you have a chance to check it out I think you will enjoy this Flickr set too. From Thrifted

Perfect Platters
A friend of mine forwarded these plates to me - she knew I would love them - they are from Neiman Marcus and apparently you can get them online - I think they are truly beautiful - even the shapes are quite magical!

Poetic Home
Yesterday, after I admired this first image, I followed a link on Desire to Inspire to Poetic Home and found myself loving so many of the images on the beautiful blog and in the Flickr set. If you like what you see here there's lots more and some great repurposing and DIY ideas too at Poetic Home - enjoy!

Inspiration | Packaging
A couple of new additions to the French Paper Co. soap line packaging. How fun - and beautifully designed, of course! French Paper used to always have the best sample and swatch sets - very creative and clever. I'm not sure if they still do?

Happy Birthday Henry Road
There having a birthday celebration at Henry Road - Paula wrote to tell me about it and I wish I could go! (I wrote all about her lovely shop right here) It's been a year since they opened their store in Studio City, Los Angeles, so they are celebrating.  All online items and most in store items will be 40% off from May 1-10 only. "Goodies to be had include our line as well as ceramics from the likes of Jonathan Adler and Alyssa Ettinger, books, candles, jewelry and vintage finds."

Vintage Storefronts
Doug and I used to live in Edinburgh and I think we might make a trip back there this year. I was looking through some pictures the other night and thought you might like to see where my obsession for vintage storefronts comes from. This is a great selection - all from Edinburgh. I love the bright colours against the granite and sandstone walls.

Picture purge.
I always seem to end up with so many unrelated but beautiful photographs by the end of the blogging week. Hope you don't mind if I purge!

Vintage finds.
Here are a couple of fun vintage things this week from Bluebell Bazaar. These drawers are very cool, I can think of many things I'd like to store in those. And the basket is so authentic - perfect for those industrial chic interiors we love!

Poppytalk Handmade Market
I always take the time to browse through the Poppytalk Handmade Market to see what catches my eye. I am always so impressed with everyone's art and craftiness(and wish I had more time for crafts these days.) I think this necklace is wonderful - cut from a 1950s tin tray - perfect little dogwood flowers. How clever and unique - from Little Black Rabbit.

Inspiration | Interiors
Today I have for you some good old fashioned eye candy - and judging by the feedback I get - this is what you all enjoy the most - so enjoy!
