Have you seen these? I think these are clever. They are not really reproductions - they are a new take on a mechanics safety light. Something that was never meant to be decorative taking on a deconstructed, vintage hipness that really appeals to me. Also check out to the fabulous chandelier made from recycled plastic pop bottles - also very clever in a different kinda way. From - guess who?

Oh and if you're worried about ugly exposed light bulbs Anthro has that covered with their super cute designer bulbs!

I love these images - I expect the owner of this place was planning on doing some redecorating - maybe a bit of new wallpaper - when the location scout came round and said, 'Don't do a thing - it's perfect!' I really like the esthetic of this store Tuttemerull - lots of wood and zinc and linen. Very natural and northern hemisphere-esque.

Look at all these wonderful, colourful new things at Graham and Green. The love bird cushions are great and do you like the turquoise shelf - definitely brighten up a dull spot in the porch or the pantry.

I was just thinking how much these beautiful dishes reminded me of letterpress - can you see that - that impression pressed into the porcelain and filled with colour? I'm really drawn to these. I would want to display a group on the wall . They really are quite fabulous - I want to touch one. don't you? The talented artist is Raquel Masri.

This Irish gal has absolutely perfected the art of felted corsages - hasn't she? It's hard to believe these beautiful, light, ethereal-looking creations are made of wool. And I love the peachy pinks. I have not worn a flower in my hair for a long time but any day now I might be spotted with that 2-tone pink number sitting jauntily to one side . . . . if I'm brave . . . maybe . . . .

Here are couple of interesting pieces from Anthropologie that I haven't seen before. Pretty cheery. I like the details. Hmmm, raffia - that's another flash back to my crafty youth in the 70's.
