What do these beautiful accessories have in common? They're all easy projects from Martha Stewart - I love to leave you with weekend projects! The leather belts are wonderful - and a hint - there are often great Bakelite belt buckles for sale in the vintage shops on Etsy Have fun - and then send me a picture!

One of my readers sent me a link to this sweet site - PIP - from the Netherlands. How can I resist such prettiness! I'm really loving the website design trend at the moment of using photographs of 3 dimensional objects - it's so non techy! PIP's homepage has all sorts of little animations that are so clever - you must visit. After you've played around with the homepage checkout all their fabulous wares. (I love their bags!)

There are some pretty jaw dropping pieces of furniture at Liv Chic. Including these stunning modern Rococco pieces. There's lots to look at on their website.

Pattern
Abigail Borg is one talented lady. Her wallpaper designs are a clever concoction of vintage chintz and contemporary vectored line art. Her colours are a combination of muted tones which look so striking at the scale she uses. I am not nearly brave enough to paper a wall with these designs but I love to admire. You can see more on her website and blog - enjoy . . .

These remind me of vintage Italian ceramics. They are very nicely hand 'carved' and hand painted. In a time when so much is mass produced this is such a refreshing relief for handmade junkies like me. These pretty little tumblers are made by Ebenotti and are available right here.

I want to tell you about some great Stationery Show coverage at The Stationery Hustle. Rajshel from JH Papers took the time to take great photographs and feature wonderful stationers last week. I'm really impressed with the trouble she went to. I think you'll enjoy her coverage too.

Another Great Big Cartolina Giveaway!
As is the tradition around here, we have new product so we are having a new product giveaway! The prizes are fabulous - the 2 winners shall receive a full set of all our new goodies - cards, notebooks and pocket mirrors -yay! I love sharing the excitement every few months. So all you have to do is leave a comment at the bottom of the post - tell me who you'd most like to send one of our cards to. It could be your granny or it could be someone from history - anyone. I'll leave the giveaway open until Sunday at 4pm Pacific time. Now if, for some reason, you need to get your hands on some Cartolina loot before next week then you can always get yours right here from Modern Paper Goods - the whole collection at great prices and great service options.

One of the best things about designing and producing a product is that I can share it with friends :-)
And I'll have 2 winners on Monday morning for you :-) If you'd like to enter more than once you just need to blog or Tweet this post! Thanks for entering! Good luck!

This is an interesting use of vintage ephemera - just a little more artistic than the usual laminated jewelry pieces that you see on Etsy. Sweet little works of art from Sushi Pot.

I love everything faded and scruffy. I also love anything heraldic or typographic. So if you combine those 4 things it makes me quite happy :-) I don't like being on everyone's mailing list but I don't mind being on Mothology's mailing list if they send me fab things like these . . .

Inspiration
Do you love these, I do! Foxes and badgers are so sneaky I love the idea of one hanging on the wall in a quiet little corner of the house. Great stuff from Julie Whitmore.

Aren't these cool - they're huge too - about 2ft across. I can totally see these used as display pieces at Anthropologie can't you? They look like giant petunias! They are from Factory 20 - as are the mounted butterflies - which would also not look out of place as part of an Anthropologie display!
